Why Don't You Take Insurance?
Our practice doesn't bill insurance because our care model is built to prioritize you, not the paperwork. By removing the middleman we can focus on a direct, personal relationship between you and your physician. This means longer visits, same-day or next-day appointments, and care that's truly centered around your needs rather than insurance restrictions.
With the rising cost of health insurance, many of our patients choose to carry a lower-cost, high-deductible plan for major or catastrophic events while relying on our practice for their everyday and preventive care. This combination often provides the best of both worlds- comprehensive protection and truly personalized healthcare.
What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is changing the way people access healthcare, making it easier, more effective, and often less expensive than traditional insurance-driven practices. Patients know exactly what they are paying for, eliminating the surprise bills, reducing complicated billing processes, and high deductibles that often come with insurance. In traditional healthcare systems, waiting for an appointment can take weeks, and many patients feel rushed during their visits. DPC allows for longer appointments and more personalized care.
Can I join if I have Medicare?
Yes. Medicare offers substantial coverage for various healthcare needs; however, having coverage does not equate to guaranteed access to care. By combining a Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership with Medicare, patients can enjoy remarkably quick and easy access to a dedicated physician who addresses many of their medical requirements. Furthermore, Medicare can still be utilized for specialist referrals and additional services not included in the DPC membership. This integration enhances both accessibility and the overall healthcare experience.
What happens if I need to see a specialist?
If you find yourself in a situation where you need to see a specialist, rest assured that we will facilitate the process for you. Our team will coordinate with the specialist's office to complete your referral, ensuring that all necessary information regarding your medical background is seamlessly shared.
